About

Except for a few hangers on (bit like the people who hung onto the notion that the world was flat!) most people have accepted that Global Warming and Climate Change is happening and that it's being caused by the way us humans are living on this planet. So the search is on. For solutions and ways we can change and start living our lives in ways that nourish, feed and nurture both our beautiful planet we call Earth and the beautiful heart or spirit of our lives.

And it's exciting! For all over the world people of all ages and from all walks of life are coming up with their own unique ways and actions to meet the unprecedented challenges created by our current lifestyles and behaviour. Whether it's in their private lives, with their families, children and schools, or the children themselves, or through their businesses, or projects they're involved with, each of them has their own personal reason and story of how and why they are doing this.

At the same time media and web technology is making it both relatively simple, easy and not too expensive, to make short videos and to have them broadcast worldwide. We now have the tools, (cameras, editing software), and the platforms, (broadband TV and DVD's), to assist and enable individuals, schools, communities, and businesses to document, film, broadcast and access these stories globally.

The Stories4Change Library was set up to seek out, collect, train, educate, produce, film, archive and broadcast stories from all over the world to inspire change. Change in our lifestyles and behaviour. Change in our businesses and the way we do business. Change in how we, and our children, use the media. We feel these stories need to be told, heard, and connected to encourage, support, and unite all the people who, whether they know it or not, are growing the movement to change and transform our society and our world, while at the same time averting global warming and climate change.
